THE TRANQUILITY SERIES
Like the seagoing tales of C.S. Forester's
Captain Horatio Hornblower, each Waters of
the Moon novel is written to stand alone or be
viewed as a continuing chronicle of a decisive
era in Earth's history. The plot is simple; In
2049, a handful of scientists believe Earth will
one day be threatened by a hostile alien
invasion, but when they suddenly die in a tragic
mishap, the plan to defend Earth falls upon the
Computers of Tranquility and the moon's only
surviving resident, a child named Grey Waters.
Orphaned on an abandoned moon base, isolated
by war on Earth, Grey must struggle to survive
in a world ruled by machines.
