TRANQUILITY DIVIDED

Even heroes can have much to learn.
After winning independence for the rebel
Lunar Republic, Grey and Kris linger on
Earth only to discover themselves
traveling different paths. When it's
reported that the Arikhan have
returned, Grey journeys back to the
moon where he finds himself in a battle
he's ill-prepared for. Once again the
young man born on the moon and
raised by computers struggles against a
daunting foe only to learn his greatest
enemy is not aliens, computers or
robots, but his own dark fears and
resentments.

Author's Note;
Tranquility Divided begins the final three-book journey toward the climatic battle to
protect Earth from the approaching Arikhan fleet, continuing in Tranquility Under the
Eagles and ending with the 9th book, tentatively titled Tranquility's Last Stand.

Toward the middle of the 21st
century, as individual and team
combat once again dominate military
strategy, the best of the best will
compete in public games where the
winners will achieve the coveted
Black Sash. Fought against robotic
weapons in live fire situations, the
games are both entertaining and
dangerous.

Sometimes it's necessary to step out of reality and see ourselves from a new perspective.
Tranquility Divided is not the first story to take this approach. There is also the basis of
reality to consider, which is more complicated than we expect. We also pay tribute to
special friends working to make today's world into a more hopeful tomorrow;
